Condicionales

  • Tipo 0: Hechos generales. Present simple, present simple.
  • Tipo 1: Condición posible y su resultado probable. Presente, futuro.
  • Tipo 2: Condición hipotética y su resultado probable. Pasado simple, present continuous.
  • Tipo 3: Condición no real del pasado y su resultado probable en el pasado. Past perfect, present continuous.

Tiempos Verbales

  • Present Continuous: Se usa para hablar del momento actual, utilizando una forma de 'to be' en presente: am / is / are + -ing
  • Present Perfect: have / has + participio pasado (-ed o 3ª columna)
  • Present Perfect Continuous: have / has been + -ing
  • Past Simple: Verbos con -ed.
  • Past Continuous: was / were + gerundio. Se usa para una acción continua en un momento del pasado.
  • Past Perfect: had + participio pasado (-ed o 3ª columna). Se usa para una acción en el pasado anterior a otro momento en el pasado.
  • Past Perfect Continuous: Se forma con had been + -ing.
  • Future Simple: will + verbo en infinitivo.
  • Future Continuous: will + be + -ing.
  • Future Perfect: will have + participio pasado (-ed o 3ª columna). Se usa para algo que harás en el futuro antes de otra cosa en el futuro.
  • Future Perfect Continuous: will have been + -ing. Para explicar una acción que continúa hasta un momento en el futuro.

Reported Speech (Estilo Indirecto)

  • Present Simple: (She studies English) pasa a Past Simple (She studied English).
  • Present Continuous: (“I am waiting for my sister.”) pasa a Past Continuous (He was waiting for his sister).
  • Present Perfect Simple: (I have read the note.) pasa a Past Perfect Simple (He had read the note).
  • Present Perfect Continuous: (“She has been studying English.”) pasa a Past Perfect Continuous (She had been studying English).
  • Past Simple: (Kate arrived on Monday morning) pasa a Past Perfect (Kate had arrived on Monday morning).
  • Past Continuous: (She was studying English.) pasa a Past Perfect Continuous (She had been studying English).
  • Past Perfect Simple: (She had studied English.) No cambia.
  • Past Perfect Continuous: (She had been studying English.) No cambia.
  • Future Simple: (I’ll visit you soon.) pasa a Condicional (He would visit us soon).
  • Can: (She can study English.) pasa a Could (She could study English).
  • May: (It may be a good proposal.) pasa a Might (It might be a good proposal).
  • Must / Have to: (I must brush my teeth) pasa a Had to (He had to brush his teeth).
  • Should, Could, Would, Might, Ought to y Used to: No cambian.
